Thank you for supporting Goodwill!

WHAT’S THE STORY ON THOSE GOODWILL COLOR CODES?

Have you ever wondered about the green, blue, red or yellow color tags or the letters G, B, R or Y on Goodwill merchandise? Those color codes help our employees manage Goodwill’s inventory. The tags are added when a donated item is processed so our employees know how long the item has been available. After three weeks, items with that color are on sale for half price the rest of the week – 99 cents on Monday! Any unsold items are then sent to our Last Chance! outlet or recycled to make room for fresh inventory at your Goodwill retail store.

DID YOU KNOW?

When you shop at Amazon.com, a portion of your purchase can support Goodwill? Thanks to the Amazon Smile program, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA is now signed up to receive funds through the Amazon Smile program.

It’s simple to sign up. Just go to www.smile.amazon.com , log in to your Amazon account (or create a new one), and then follow the prompts to search for Goodwill (be sure to choose Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia, Inc.). Select our Goodwill as your charity, and then start shopping.

The prices are exactly the same. There is NO additional cost to the shopper. Each time you make a purchase, Goodwill receives a portion of the proceeds – it’s that simple.
