Goodwill Week job fair opens opportunities with Dublin-area employers

In celebration of the annual Goodwill Week, May 2-6, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA will hold spring job fairs throughout its 35-county service area, including one in Dublin. These job fairs will be preceded by boot camps designed to help job seekers in their search for employment, and all of the opportunities are provided free of charge as part of Goodwill’s mission of offering career advancement and education programs.

The Dublin job fair will be held 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the Dublin Goodwill Job Connection, 2005 Veterans Boulevard at the Dublin Mall, featuring area companies and governments offering employment opportunities. The boot camp preceding the job fair will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Dublin Job Connection, and will be led by Job Connection staffers and human resources professionals affiliated with employers participating in the job fair. Goodwill’s boot camp program recently was designated Volunteer Program of the Year by Goodwill International.

The boot camp is open to anyone seeking assistance in preparing for the job opportunities, and participants will receive preferred entry to the job fair. Goodwill’s boot camp program recently was designated Volunteer Program of the Year by Goodwill International.
