  • Request Information here.
  • A Goodwill Career Education will reach out to you to confirm your interest and provide application documents.
  • Complete and submit an enrollment application.
  • After completing application, we will email you with a date for a mandatory information meeting. You must attend the in-person meeting to confirm enrollment in a Goodwill Career Education program.
  • Complete and sign an Enrollment Agreement and other necessary documents.
  • Proof of high school diploma or equivalency.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Completion of pre-enrollment assessment.
  • Participants who complete at least 80% of the coursework and meet the attendance requirements will earn a Certificate of Completion from Goodwill Career Education. Additionally, many courses offer the opportunity to take an exam to earn an Industry-Recognized Credential. An Industry-Recognized Credential is a certification valued by employers within a specific industry. It validates an individual’s skills, knowledge, and abilities in a particular field or occupation. These credentials are typically issued by respected organizations, such as the National Healthcareer Association, and are widely recognized across the industry.
  • Each course duration varies between 4-8 weeks.
  • Each course schedule varies, typically meeting 4 days a week.
  • Tuition varies by course, based on the number of hours, required materials, and exam fees. Many programs are available at no cost to participants who qualify based on income, employment status, or other criteria.
  • Eligible participants may receive additional support services during training, including transportation assistance, work clothing or uniform vouchers, and more.
  • Contact the Goodwill Career Education team to find out what you qualify for and learn about available resources.
  • Goodwill funds its training programs through the sale of donated goods in its retail stores. The proceeds directly support free or low-cost career development and training services through Goodwill Career Education.
  • Goodwill Career Education also partners with government agencies, nonprofits, and private organizations to secure grants and funding for workforce development initiatives.
