Forklift Operator Training Program

The Forklift Training Program will prepare participants for employment in today’s warehouse and materials storage and moving industriesThe expected outcome of this program is that each participant will obtain operator safety certifications and hands on experience operating the mobile power-propelled truck used to carry, push, pull, lift, stack or tier materials. This program also includes the General Industry OSHA Safety course.After completion of the course a trained operator will know how to perform the job properly and safely as demonstrated by a workplace evaluation.

FAQs Forklift Training Program

Individual will complete the OSHA-10 prior to doing forklift portion. There will be a written test prior to driving. Participants will engage in a driving test.

Yes, forklift certification cards (commonly referred to as “carry cards”) generally expire. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires forklift operators to be re-evaluated at least once every three years to ensure they remain competent to operate forklifts safely.  However, some companies or organizations might have stricter policies and require more frequent renewals.

Once you complete the OSHA 10-Hour training, the card you receive is valid for life. However, some employers, industries, or jurisdictions may require workers to retake the course periodically (commonly every 3-5 years) to ensure that safety knowledge is up to date with any changes in regulations or best practices.

Yes, we require a valid driver’s license to take the forklift program.
